Research interests

Ulrike is a Lecturer in Management and Marketing in the College of Business and Law. She has industry backgrounds in the information technology (IT) and tourism sector, including online marketing and platform development, touristic events management and working in dive tourism in the Caribbean. Her research focusses on sustainability, agency, and decision-making in the field of tourism, as well as higher education research. Ulrike holds degrees in systems analysis (Dipl.-Ing.), ecotourism (MTourism) and tourism management (PhD) and has taught in the UK and Australia. When not at work, Ulrike can be found exploring the natural surrounds and beaches of Sydney.
