Biography
Stephanie was awarded a PhD in the field of neonatal immunology in 2015 by the University of Western Australia, where she investigated antimicrobial and immunological factors in preterm breast milk. She has previously studied bacteriophages, conducted clinical research in oncology, and worked in diagnostic microbiology laboratories in Western Australia. She previously worked with the Aerosol Research group as a Postdoctoral Research Associate before moving to the Telethon Kids Institute to research immunology of people at risk of Multiple Sclerosis undergoing UV-B phototherapy (the PhoCIS study).
