Sam Kosari is an Associate Professor of Pharmacy and the course convener for the Master of Pharmacy at the University of Canberra. Sam worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Melbourne and moved to the University of Canberra in 2015. Sam is a registered pharmacist with medication review accreditation and has been involved in different aspects of pharmacy practice including community pharmacy, managing, aged care services, locum, pharmacotherapy and medication review.
Sam's research is focused on expanding the role of pharmacists in primary care. He is currently leading two research projects to integrate pharmacists in general practice to improve medication safety embed pharmcists in aged care facilities; and is a co-investiogator in a clinical trial to treat scabies.
