Peter is a CSU Research Fellow focused on evidence that supports effective public policy and communication strategies. His research interests span interpersonal and organisational communication.

In recent years he has led teams of researchers gathering evidence of community attitudes to support public policy on matters such as shark management and road user coexistence. Increasingly his team uses methods such as experimental vignettes and qualitative social media analysis that help to engage with variations in context.
