Biography
Mr Nishant Agarwal is currently a Lecturer of Accounting in the Accounting and Finance discipline of the UWA Business School. Nishant completed his doctoral studies in Accounting in June 2018 from the Indian School of Business (ISB), India. His other qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in engineering and MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, a business school that ranks among the top 3 in India. Before his PhD, Nishant was teaching at India’s biggest private university (Amity University) as an Assistant Professor in Finance and Accounting. He also has 9 years of industry experience in a variety of areas such as risk management and strategy among others.
Nishant has papers under review at journals such as Accounting, Organizations, and Society (AOS), European Accounting Review (EAR) etc.
