Biography
I graduated with my PhD in 2015, with a thesis entitled "Biomarkers in Schizophrenia". I have since been working in the fields of neurodevelopmental programmming, neurotrauma, neuroprotection, perinatal brain development, and biological psychiatry. My key skills are in behavioural phenotyping of animal model of mental health, neurophysiology including EEG and auditory evoked potentials, neuroanatomical techniques, and image processing.
Roles and responsibilities
I am currently an honorary research fellow collaborating with Prof Jane Pillow on preterm lamb models of infection and glucocorticoid therapy to determine optimal intervention strategies to promote preterm infant neurodevelopment.
