Dr Melissa Licari is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the Autism Research Team at the Telethon Kids Institute and also currently holds an Adjunct Position within the School of Human Sciences at The University of Western Australia. She has a keen interest in movement, in particular understanding motor deficits in children with neurodevelopmental disorders, including developmental coordination disorder, autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and cerebral palsy.
She maintains close links with the Paediatric Exercise Programs at the University of Western Australia, in particular the MiniGym and UniGym programs, remedial movement programs for children with a variety of conditions impacting on their movement.
