Personal profile

Biography

I am an interdisciplinary researcher specialising in marine science and environmental economics. My research aims to improve the management of our oceans by ensuring policies reflect the preferences of people and society whilst being grounded in strong science.

Currently, my research focus is on establishing a national social and economic baseline for the newly implemented Australian Marine Parks. I am also involved in projects aimed at incorporating recreational fishers preferences into fisheries management and measuring the economic contributions of commercial fisheries.
