Dr Mariana Brocardo is a biochemist and cell biologist. Dr Brocardo has focused on understanding the localisation and shuttling of target proteins involved in the onset of colon cancer and how these proteins modulate the DNA damage response. Currently, she moved to Macquarie University to study the involvement of DNA damage and repair mechanisms in the development of motor neuron disease
