Biography
March (Leung) To is a Senior Lecturer at the Business School at the University of Western Australia. He received his Ph.D. in Management from the University of Queensland in 2011 (November). His research interests include emotion and emotional wellbeing, creativity, and self-regulation. He explores these core human behaviours across different levels of conceptualization, including intra-individual variability (e.g., how a person’s day-by-day emotional changes influence the person’s day-by-day creativity, and vice versa), interpersonal dynamics (e.g., how displays of positive and negative emotions influence interpersonal behaviours in a dyad), and group dynamics (e.g., how diverse feelings among group members affect their group performance). His primary methodological interests are multilevel analysis and Experience Sampling Methodology. Dr. To has published in major international journals such as the Journal of Applied Psychology, the Journal of Organizational Behavior, and the Leadership Quarterly. Dr. To is serving on the editorial board of the Journal of Organizational behavior. His research has been funded by competitive government grants.
