Firstly, Liam's main area of research is anti-discrimination law, with a focus on LGBTIQA+ and religious freedom protections, and the enforcement and understanding of anti-discrimination law norms in Australia. Secondly, he researches into private law, and in particular the role negligence laws play in shaping social norms and behaviour. He also applies his negligence and anti-discrimination law research in the context of sport, both in Australia and internationally.
