Larissa Bamberry has undertaken research across a broad range of themes including globalisation, casualisation, skill shortages in ageing and disability sectors, workforce development and the implementation of the National Disability Insurance Scheme and skills, employment and economic regeneration in regions.

She has also had broad-ranging experience in the New South Wales public sector, working across a range of policy areas including labour market policy, education and training, industrial relations, women's policy and sport and recreation.
