Biography
Experienced Research Scientist with a demonstrated history of working in academia, clinical pathology laboratories and industry. Much of my research activities and success extends from collaborative initiatives with researchers and industry from Australia, where I have provided significant leadership and expertise from project beginnings, including experimental design and grant submissions, to data collection, data analysis and finally publication.
I possess many and diverse skills in the areas of immunology, cellular and molecular biology and mass spectrometry-based proteomics. I have successfully applied these skills to contribute to diverse research projects, from investigating immune function in HIV-1 disease to evaluating long-term T cell responses in Zika virus. In addition to driving cutting edge immunology and proteomics research, I am strongly engaged in teaching, communication and publicity of science and research at many levels.
