Interfacial Nanostructure of Deep Eutectic Solvents using Atomic Force Microscopy

Biography

I am a PhD student studying Surface Chemistry and Materials Science in the School of Molecular Sciences at the University of Western Australia. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science with First Class Honours in Chemistry in 2019 and have previously graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in finance; both are from the University of Western Australia.

My main research area is studying the nanostructure of liquids and solvents, in bulk and at interfaces, primarily using Atomic Force Microscopy. The main aim of my research is to use the results to develop complex fluids containing surfactants and polymers, as well as lubricants, to improve the sustainability of fluids used in industry.
