Research interests

My core research focuses on the behaviour and ecology of fishes. I have a particular interest in understanding how the interacting roles of animal vision, colouration and the light environment determine behavioural and ecological interactions. My latest project investigates how freshwater fishes cope with environmental variability through changes in their physiology, morphology and behaviour.
