Previous positions: Postdoc, MQ / U. Minnesota 2002-4; ARC Research Fellow 2005-8; Deputy-Convenor, ARC Vegetation Function Research Network 2005-9; ARC Future Fellow 2011-15; Deputy-Associate Dean of Research, Faculty of Science & Engineering 2017-18.

Teaching. I convene BIOL3410 Plant Biology, BIOL2910 Advanced Science (Biology) internship, and serve as Director of the Bachelor of Advanced Science (Biology) degree.

I lead the Macquarie University Plant Growth Facility committee. I was elected as a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Science in 2019. I am a Node Leader and member of the Executive for the ARC Centre of Excellence for Plant Success in Nature & Agriculture (2020-2027).
