Biography

Charles Lemckert is a Fellow of the Institute of Engineers Australia in the College of Civil Engineering and a member of the Australian Institution of Building. He has over 25 years of experience in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students. He has developed a number of innovative teaching strategies and was the project leader in developing an innovative real-time Internet mediated laboratory experimental program, which now forms an integral part of many educational programs.

Charles’ research interests are based around water and coastal engineering with a growing interest and activity in water sensitive urban design, along with bulding and construction management. In particular, he is involved in multi-disciplinary projects aimed at solving complex water related problems. Charles also engages in science and engineering research activities aimed at enhancing student learning outcomes.
