Aron has produced over 230 publications including 130 articles in leading international journals. He has guest edited special issues in the Journal of Product Innovation Management, Industrial Marketing Management, European Journal of Marketing, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Retailing & Consumer Services. Has been a chief investigator of grants valued at over $5,000,000. Aron has served on the Australian Research Council (ARC) College of Experts and served as a Member of Excellence in Research Australia (ERA) Research Evaluation Committee. He has supervised to completion some 40 research higher degree students. Overall, his published works have received over 18,000 citations as measured in Google scholar with a H-index of 63 and G-index of 130 which put him in the top 2% of research productive marketing scholars globally. Aron has expertise in bringing together critical issues around marketing strategy, firm resources and capabilities, and their effect on branding, value creation, innovation and firm performance in the context of goods and services. He has conducted research in a wide range of industry (SME, large firms manufacturing, services, Tourism and politics) and country contexts, especially in Asia including China, Singapore, Taiwan, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, India, Iran, and other countries.
