Andrew Hall is an earth system scientist with specialist knowledge in climatology and vegetation remote sensing, his work being reliant on expert application of geographic information science and remote sensing image analysis. Andrew is integral in large environmental science research teams. He is currently Acting Director of the Institute for Land, Water & Society at Charles Sturt University, conducting research on monitoring the effects of environmental watering actions that incorporates an ongoing interest in plant and landscape phenology. Andrew has had a very active university teaching role, developing courses in advanced geographic information science, remote sensing, and climatology with a focus on postgraduate education.
